Welcome!
My name is Mary Vaughan, and I am currently an Assistant Professor at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.
I earned my Ph.D. in Mathematics from Iowa State University in May 2020. My advisor was Pablo Raúl Stinga. After that, I was a RTG Postdoctocal Scholar at the University of Texas at Austin where I was mentored by Luis Caffarelli, Stefania Patrizi, and Matías Delgadino. Then, I moved across the world to Perth where I was a Research Associate at the University of Western Australia under the supervision of Enrico Valdinoci and Serena Dipierro.
My research is in analysis and partial differential equations. I use techniques from PDEs, functional analysis, and calculus of variations to study the behavior of nonlocal and fractional equations. You can learn more on my research page.
